Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 光電學系 === 105 === We have demonstrated passive mode locking of a diode-pump Nd-dope gain medium laser with cascaded second-order nonlinearity effect of non-phase matching second order harmonic generation process in nonlinear crystal(MgO:PPLN). Dual-wavelength mode-locked laser system by using diffusion-bonded laser crystal(Nd:YVO4/Nd:GdVO4) because of Nd-dope on different host crystal have not the same output wavelength optical properties. To compare mode-locked laser properties with thermal lens effect and special hold burning effect by using another diffusion-bonded laser gain medium(YVO4/Nd:YVO4). To the best of our knowledge, the experiment results of pulse width is the shortest pulse width of a passive mode-locking laser with positive cascaded second-order kerr lensing in Nd:YVO4 laser gain medium.
