Transportation Demand Management (TDM) is one of the major strategies adopted by major cities in the world today. It controls and manages the use of private transport by the demand side in order to improve the utilization rate of transit operators. Therefore, the aim of this paper will use logistic models to explore the feelings and related preferences of people with different travel characteristics and socioeconomic characteristics on different TDM program. Through revealed-preference (RP) and stated-preference (SP) questionnaire, the models will be used to provide suggestion for development of Taichung City, as well as plans for large shopping malls in terms of traffic management planning, for the purpose as reference of decision-making.
