Using collocations in the appropriate situation in English can enhance the individual's English expression ability and language fluency. However, in the process of learning collocations students may lack of learning motivation and do not know whether it is correct to use collocation in the right occasions. Therefore, through the dual code theory as the basis and watch films, this study intends to help learners experience the real learning materials to improve learning efficiency. In this study, the video subtitles are marked with the collocations and provide the notes and explanations of collocations for learners. It has great benefit for the learners to understand what situations they can use the collocations. Using films as a teaching material in the teaching field is quite common. If the learners mark the collocations while watching the films, they can increase their cognition and application of the collocations. Therefore, we establish a set of interactive learning system to enhance the understanding of English collocation words as the main purpose and establish an online learning platform to make learners do video learning activities and share knowledge with other learners. The integration of the site backstage system automatically collects learners’ feedback, so that learners can understand their raising cognition of collocations while doing learning activities and self-assessment. At the end of the experimental process, the questionnaire survey of film learning activities and system operation were carried out. The results showed that the learning activities were suitable for these participants. It also found out that the learners’ collocation ability improved and learners’ interesting of learning collocation increased. Lin, Jim-Min Zeng-Wei Hong 林志敏 洪振偉 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 50 zh-TW
