This study is Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene yarns experiment on scouring, dyeing, soaping method and analysis the results. We focus on the method and using optical microscope, optical spectrometer, TGA , and DSC to analysis. We analysis the yarns surface, apparent concentration value (K/S value), and thermal properties after scouring, dyeing, soaping steps. After the soaping process, the yarns mechanical properties were measured for appraising the dyeing method effect. The experiment results are the most stable condition is 40℃/ 10 min for scouring. The Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene yarns should be used dyeing temperature during 110-120 ℃. In addition, comparing with the market pigment coating Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene yarns, the yellowing situation result is similar, and the washing fastness is better than the pigment coating of Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene yarns.
