Among them, the moral leadership style in the past, the lack of consensus, coupled with the cultural roots of paternalistic leadership from the "Confucian" and "Legalists" rather than rich in moral and moral "Taoism." The famous Taoist classics "Tao Te Ching" is widely used in management, politics and personal moral cultivation and other fields, and its rich leadership view and meaning are also widely discussed by the academic research. Looking at the study of "Tao Te Ching" at home and abroad, many adopt the humanistic research methods, and lack of social science methods to explore. Therefore, based on the content analysis, this paper tries to find out the single word in the Tao Te Ching frequently about the meaning of leadership, and further transform the leading meaning of Tao Te Ching as the modern leadership theory with the western leadership theory as the structure Language, to construct the Tao Te Ching, the overall analytical framework, and finally to comparative analysis to explore the similarities and differences between the East and West leadership theory. The study found that the "Tao Te Ching" and the Eastern paternalistic leadership in the leadership of Mercy and Moral in the views of points have more common, such as: the expression of benevolent love and a high moral character model; contrary to Authoritative leadership stressed the rigid leadership With the " Tao Te Ching " flexible leadership is different. However, the "Tao Te Ching" and the Western leadership theory in the characteristics, motives and behavior of the parts are the same, only in the part of the situation , "Tao Te Ching" is lack of detailed discussion.
