Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 化學工程學系 === 105 === In this study, we designed and synthesized an organic thin film transistor material, hexacene. The precursor heated and removed carbon monoxide to form hexacene. We synthesized hexacene with 1,4-methanonaphthalene and tetracene-1,4-dione, and then performed Diels-Alder reaction and synthesized the intermediate for hexacene. After reduction, aromatization, dihydroxylation and oxidative cleavage, we can get the precursor of hexacene with the total yield of 20 %. From thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) results, we realized that the precursor removed carbon monoxide at 138 ° C and converted to hexacene. Furthermore, the chemical and optical properties of hexacene were measured by mass spectrometry(MS), Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer(FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy(UV-vis) and fluorescence spectroscopy(FL).
