Nevertheless, if the fire occurred in the mountain trails, farmland, remote forests, fire engine and equipment will be hard to reach. Therefore, it is worth to promote an effective and lightweight water mist fire equipment. In this study, the application and promotion strategy of water mist fire equipment will be focused, so as interviews and questionnaire survey are carried out to analyze and discuss the results. Statistics show that the industry of water mist fire equipment has a high degree of development potential and characteristics of environmental protection. The correlation between "certification requirements", "operational performance" and "market competition" shows highly significant medium correlation. Therefore, certification requirements and operational performance are very important while operating in market competition. Under the analyses of difference and significance for background information and three aspects, we can find that: sex can show difference on certification requirements, but no significance; age can show difference on operational performance and market competition, but no significance; occupation can show difference on certification requirements, operational performance and market competition with high to very high significance; service period can show difference on certification requirements and operational performance with very high significance; Understanding of water mist can show difference on certification requirements, operational performance and market competition with very high significance. In this study, the needs of consumers are basically concerned, however, the related technique of water mist could be key point to build an industrial chain as well as promotion for water mist fire equipment.
