This study was designed to realize the connection between signature moves and the reasons that cause sports injury for Judo players in senior high school and senior vocational school in Taiwan. The samples of this study were collected from the high school male and female players in National Zhong Zheng Cup Judo Championship Competition of 105 academic year. The findings were as following: 1) The most common time of injury is during training (77.9%); the most common body part of injury is shoulders (21.5%); the most common type of injury is muscle straining (23.8%); the most common period when players can’t take part in training or competitions after injury is one week (39.7%). 2) the major reason of injury was over training (16.1%); the major move when injury is Shoulder Throw (21.3%); the major motivation when injury is to defend (45.5%). 3) 80% of survey responders used ice patches as first aid when injury; 25.8% sought athletic trainers for treatment; 33.3% can “sometimes” feel the pain of the injury part; 81.6% still keep training and attending competitions dring the recovery time, and 31.8% among them is because of their self-request standard. 4) the most common recovery time is one week (26.4%); sports injury has “rare” influence on sports performance (36.4%). 5) the most common stratagy for preventing sports injury is using protective clothing and taping for the wounds (68.8%). 6) the most common signature move is Shoulder Throw (22.1%). According to the findings, the coaches and players can have consultations when arranging training plan or dealing with sports injury.
