| Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 英語學系碩士班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to identify the study abroad experience (SAE) of Mongolian Students in Taiwan. The factors influenced their decision to study in Taiwan, their experience in general and study while in Taiwan and their perceptions of their study abroad experience in Taiwan will be discussed in this thesis. Participants in this study were 25 Mongolian students studying at a private university in Changhua, Taiwan. All of the participants studied for a master’s degree in English, International Business Administration, Art, Tourism, Master of Business Administration, Environmental Engineer.
Mongolian qualitative interview questionnaire was used to elicit as much information as possible from the research participants. The participants used their mother tongue language to answer the questionnaire for it is easier for them to express themselves better. The researcher then transcribed all the information into English. Research participants wanted to get a higher degree from a different country. Scholarship was the main reason for Mongolian students study in to Taiwan ; (3) Research Participants had a positive experience studying at DYU , because they are able to learn latest technologies and business models.
