Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 環境工程學系 === 105 === This study includes the sewerage systems of Dihua Sewage Treatment Plant, Taoyuan North Water Recycling Center, Danshui Water Recycling Center, and Beida Special Zone Gravel Water Treatment Plant as the subjects in examining the quality of the sewage in these areas. By collecting the influent water from these sewage treatment plants, this study analyzes and discusses the characteristics of the water quality in different sewage collecting systems in areas with different lifestyles. In addition, this study not only collected sanitary sewage in different seasons, but also conducted a 48-hour successive sewage sampling from weekdays to weekends to analyze the variations of the BOD, COD, SS, NH3-N, TN, PO4-P and TP of the sewage from different sewage treatment plants in order to discuss the influence of different seasons and different times on the quality variation of the influent water. The results indicate insignificant quality variations of the sewage from most of the sewage treatment plants between weekdays and weekends, except for higher COD, BOD and SS concentration of the sewage of Taoyuan North Water Recycling Center at 15:00 on holidays. In addition, there are no significant seasonal differences regarding the quality variations of the sewage from the sewage treatment plants. The sewage pipe connection rate in Danshui District has reached 96.5%, covering most of the urban area, including high and low density residential areas, school districts, commercial districts, etc. The statistics related to the sewage quality in Danshui are listed as follows: COD: 312.4 mg/L, BOD: 108.5 mg/L, SS: 145.7 mg/L, PO4-P: 2.78 mg/L, TP: 4.20 mg/L, NH3-N: 27.7 mg/L and TN: 34.8 mg/L. The above conditions qualify Danshui District as the representative area with regard the sewage quality in Northern Taiwan. This study shows that all the BOD and SS of the sewage in the four sewage treatment plants are 180 mg/L, which matches those of most sewage treatment plants in Taiwan. In addition, by comparing the quality of the collected sewage in the four sewage treatment plants, this study discovers that the regulated BOD and SS concentration and pollutant amount standard values in these sewage treatment are higher than the actual values measured.
