Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 生物醫學工程研究所 === 105 === In last few decades, metal nanoparticles has been developed worldwide in biomedical field. Because of surface plasmon resonance(SPR) of metal nanoparticles, lots of researches provide many related applications such as gold nanoparticles coated fibers, gold nanoarray, gold nanoparticles coated microspheres by self-assembly of metal nanoparticles as biosensors. In this study, two simple ways which have been developed are to make PEGylated gold nanoparticles adsorbed onto material surfaces. There are two adsorption ways involving salt inducement and silane modification respectively. PEGylated gold nanoparticles are adsorbed onto material surfaces in both mechanisms. In salt inducement mechanism, poly(ethylene glycol) attracting to cation of salt leads to be hydrophobic condition and further make gold adsorbed onto a template. In silane modification mechanism, poly(ethylene glycol) attracting cation modified on templates make gold adsorbed on templates. After mixture of bovine serum albumin and PEGylated gold nanoparticles reacts on a silane-modified template, extra higher concentration of BSA results in detaching PEGylated gold nanoparticles back into supernatant. These ways provide good dispersion according to SEM images. Dark-field microscope system is utilized to capture scattering images and spectra of gold nanoparticles according to its surface plasmon resonance. With more gold adsorption on a template causes red-shift of scattering, wider full width of half maximum(FWHM), stronger intensity. This development contributes to material surface modification.
