Summary:碩士 === 建國科技大學 === 機械工程系暨製造科技研究所 === 105 === In this study, the heat transfer experiment of the LED heat sink is carried out, and the natural convection heat transfer characteristics and temperature variations of heat sink made of aluminum alloy with different geometries are compared. The heat transfer experiments of LED finned type heat sink with different configurations (circular, cylindrical, mountain-shaped) are performed under the same volume. The configuration of heat sink with better cooling efficiency is obtained by comparing the temperature variations. The experimental results show that the circular type heat sink with a larger diameter and surface areas, can effectively increase the heat transfer efficiency of natural convection, and the temperature reduction is the maximum. As compared with other configuration of heat sink, the heat dissipation efficiency can improve up to 5~10%.
