Summary: | 碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 文教事業經營研究所 === 105 === The research aimed to study the relationships among substitute teacher’s
personality traits, job identification, and job involvement in Nantou County at public preschool. The research was conducted to the substitute teachers whom works at the public preschools in Nantou County by the school year 105. The research method of questionnaire survey was adopted. A total of 97 questionnaires were distributed, and 90 questionnaire were retrieved. All 90
were effective scale, with a recovery rate of 92.7 perecent. The data were
analyzed with descriptive statistics, pearsons product-moment correlation, and
multiple regression analysis.
Based on the results, the findings are as follows:
1.The personality traits of the substitute teachers in the public preschools of Nantou County is above the intermediate level, with agreeableness standing
out as the strongest trait, conscientious being next in line, and emotional
stability as the weakest.
2.The job identification of the substitute teachers in the public preschools of Nantou County is above the intermediate level, with experience utlitization
standing out as the strongest and value of work as the weakest.
3.The job involvement of the substitute teachers in the public preschools of
Nantou County is above the intermediate level, with job focusness standing out as the strongest and job pleasure the weakest.
4.Among the substitute teachers’ personality traits: agreeableness, conscientious, openness to experience, and extraversion was positively correlated with job identification.
5.Among the substitute teachers’ personality traits: agreeableness, conscientious, openness to experience, and extraversion was posititively
correlated with job involvement.
6.The substitute teacher’s job identification was positively correlated with job involvement.
7.The substitute teacher’s peer relation and value of work can effectively
predict job involvement.With peer relation standing out as the most effective at predicting job involvement, second being extraversion, then its experience utilization and lastly value of work.
Lastly, some suggestions were proposed for substitute teachers, school
administrations, educational administrations, and future researchers based on the results.
