Summary: | 碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 文教事業經營研究所 === 105 === The purposes of this research aimed to investigate the current situation、 results and difficulties of student after-school child care service holding by small public primary school in Taichung City, and discussing about the differences of the current situation、results and difficulties of student after school child care service, results of student after school child care service and perception of implement predicament for the teachers in diverse backgrounds. The targets are the teachers in the small public primary school in Taichung City, totally 387 samples. The auxiliary tool “the current situation、results and difficulties of student after school child care service holding by small public primary school in Taichung City questionnaire” is edited by the author. The outcomes are analyzed via Descriptive Statistic, Mean, Standard Deviation, Chi-Square Test, t-Test, One-way ANOVA and the Scheffé Method.Statistical results Were as follows:
1.Student after school child care service is mainly conducted by “the schools’ own”; the students are basically“ separated from grades”, and usually, the lower graders are the needy; the major teacher resources are“ the external hired teachers”; the main curriculums are “teaching homework”.
2.Currently, over 98% of small public primary school in Taichung City hold student after school child care service.
3.Mostly, the teachers“ haven’t taken part in for a year”, and their jobs are student care;Mostly, the student after school child care classes have “over 21 students”, and are held over five times per week.
4. Over 78% of teachers consider that schools should hold student after school child care service, and“ counseling knowledge and ability” is the most needed.
5. There is a distinct discrepancy of perception of current situation among teachers in different ages and length of service.
6. There is distinct discrepancy of overall implement among the teachers in different position and educational degree.
7. There is distinct discrepancy of the students’ “homework writing”, “daily life”, and “class performance” among the teachers in different ages, position and educational degree.
8. The major predicament is “too hard to teach due to students’ uneven levels” from a teaching affair perspective.
According to the discovers and limitations of the study, the advises about educational administration, small public primary school administrative staffs and teachers, future related research are proposed in the last.
