Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 機電工程研究所 === 105 === The purpose of this paper is to carry out the failure analysis of the bogie wheel flange lubricator and the bracket which were damaged after running a long period. During the analysis, we used the tools such as magnetic particle testing, metal analyzer, Vickers hardness tester, metallographic analysis and Scanning Electron Microscope & Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (SEM & EDS) to understand the situation of the formation of cracks, to confirm the chemical composition, hardness, observation of microstructure and fracture morphology. The results show that this failure is dominated by transgranular destruction, showing fatigue failure. The cause of this fatigue damage is mainly related to the design of the wheel flange lubricator and the bracket, and the welding manufacturing procedure. And we also proposed to increase the layer of cushioning material and to avoid welding defects and other improvements, but follow-up needs to be further verified.
