Description
Summary:碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 防災研究所 === 105 === The estimation method of sheltering needs after a major earthquake in Taiwan is calculated by TELES model. However, parameters and weights of TELES model is transformed by HASUS model. Therefore, whether parameters and weights are applicable or not in Taiwan is open to question. This study use survery data to analyze the impact factors of dislocation and shelter seeking after a major earthquake by calculating the impact weights of the various factors. This study finds that income and housing type (single house or multi-dwelling) are critical variables. Households with lower income and living in family home type tend to use public shelter. This study redefines the above factors (income and housing type) and summarizes them into a model which can calculate the sheltering needs of dislocated households. Furthermore, this study also compare the model with HAZUS, TELES and TERIA to provide a better estimation for government or decision makers for preparedness of shelter.
