In order to consolidate the prepotency, the emperor of Zhou conceived marriage and blood relation as a rein to rule the country; therefore, established Marriage Official to manage marriage through rigorous matchmaking procedure, make sure hierarchy would not be destroyed or subvert. Moreover, successive dynasties inherited the conservative spirit, as a result, Marriage Official monopolized marriage decision- making procedure until Quin Dynasty, ended in The Republic of China. Nevertheless, matchmaking still play an important role in our society. Not only in China, has matchmaking seemed like a universal choice into marriage, with the development of internet. The International Marriage Matchmaking Industry has become an unstoppable trend; however, in other hand, convenient tools for human trafficking, sexual transactions, scams, etc., hiding unquantifiable miserable and bloody stories. Once, from 2003 to 2006, Taiwan Government temporarily took the Marriage Matchmaking Industry all into control, including international and national, drafting special law to protect rights for unmarried both sides. After 2006, under highly pressure from public opinion and 2006 Trafficking in Persons Report, Taiwan Government suddenly prohibited the Marriage Matchmaking Industry—no matter international or national, the original owners were still allow to operate the company, however, could only operate without benefit. Since then, the International Marriage Matchmaking Industry has no longer been a normal business, but been compelled to transformed into public welfare foundations and under control of National Immigration Agency. While publics focused on the international matchmaking problems, scams and other illegal problems in matchmaking for nationals seldom got attention and criminal problems beneath the industries has severely threaten our society and rights of marriage. Given that our government has ignored criminal problems in the National Marriage Matchmaking Industry for a long time, here are some suggestions, first, reassess position of the industry, second, evaluate the possibility of integrating and drafting the special law for the industry, third, release over-intervention of freedom of marriage and occupation. 黃慧娟 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 162 zh-TW |
