Summary: | 碩士 === 中央警察大學 === 行政管理研究所 === 105 === The number of female police officer has increased over the years. The population percentage of female officers has reached 6.73% in 2013. The female officers bring positive influence to the police organization through effectively serving the civilians and being suitable in dealing with cases involving women and children. However, female officers are being treated unequally in comparison to male officers due to sexual differences.
This paper is based on A Theory of Justice by John Rawls, and uses the two principles of justice to investigate the issues of sexual differences. Furthermore, this paper is expected to help analyze and practically exploit the current sexual difference issues in the police organization through “equal basic liberties” and “equal opportunity and difference” principles.
