Studying communications will therefore help improve the efficiency of an organization. The methodology adopted for this study is the in-depth interview of qualitative research method, participant observation, and case analysis method. We focused our convenience sampling on Taiwan invested enterprises in East China area. Three companies with different business natures and company sizes were selected for more in-depth study in the interaction models among expatriate Taiwanese managers, Chinese managers, and Chinese employees, as well as in the management styles of the companies. We also discussed the barriers existing in the Taiwan invested enterprises and the countermeasures taken in response to the communication problems. Our study shows that most Taiwan invested enterprises elect hierarchical one-way downward communication and institutional communication, and horizontal or upward/downward two-way informal communications are lacking between expatriate Taiwanese managers and Chinese managers/Chinese employees. Taiwan invested enterprises place very much emphasis on occupational skills training, practical training, and the training for embedding corporate culture. However, trainings for effective communications have been ignored. It is therefore recommended trainings for communications be reinforced. Ho, Hsiu-Chen 何秀珍 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 95 zh-TW
