In order for company A to gain a competitive edge in this ever more competitive market, changes in their organizational structure seemed inevitable. In the traditional manufacturing industry, employees are subjected to the immutable operating procedures of the past. To what extend would the introduction of industry 4.0, the combination of computerization and traditional human operations have an effect on both emotions and performances of the employees. Such effect would carry heavy weight when it comes to making important innovative leadership changes and implementation of policies. This study is looking at how the implementation of industry 4.0 and innovative leadership changes could possibly affect the emotionalintelligence and performance on employees of company A. It is a question worth exploring. In this study, 700 questionnaires were issued through Convenience Sampling. A total of 610 questionnaires were collected, of which 78 invalid questionnaires were discarded, leaving 532 valid questionnaires which account for 87% of all questionnaires issued. The results were validated using Amos, the results are as follows: Innovative leadership has a significant positive influence on individual performance. Innovative Leadership has a significant positive influence on employee emotional intelligence. Employee emotional intelligence has a significant positive influence on individual performance. Employee emotional intelligence has mediating effect on personal performance and innovative leadership.
