Various factors have influences on the evaluation and decision-making of supplier evaluation and selection. Supplier selection is a highly complicated process. It is one of the most popular discussion points in academic and business societies. A great number of research articles about supplier selection exist in the literature. These studies have examined the influences of different factors on supplier selection decision-making. This thesis aims to examine the literature in a specified period of time to identify the changes and tendency of the main criteria which mostly influence the supplier selection and evaluation decision-making. To reach the research purpose, this study has reviewed more than 30 articles published in the period between 2000 and 2015 which are drawn from a big research database. Based on the examination of these articles were completed the critical analysis and systematic review. Research findings reveal that the traditional criteria like cost, quality, delivery, and others are still the most common factors used in the supplier selection process. Two new criteria regarding the corporate social responsibility and environmental issues are added to the already existed factors. The present study also summarized the top ten criteria that were most cited in the literature and discussed the meanings and importance of these ten criteria. According to the research findings, practical and academic suggestions are also addressed in the thesis.
