| Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 運輸科技與物流管理學系 === 105 === The purposes of this study were to realize the current situation, to analyze the differences, and to explore the relationship between Rural Area's School Children Road Behavior in Taichung Waipu District. The study data was based on the self-designed survey titled Questionnaire of Road Behavior. A total of 159 questionnaires were delivered, and 156 valid questionnaires were retrieved. The valid questionnaire recruitment rate was 93.97%. The results of the investigation were analyzed and discussed by some statistical methods, such as: Factor Analysis, Descriptive statistics, T-test, One-way ANOVA and Pearson's correlation. According to the results of statistic analysis, the conclusions of this study were as follows:
1.Rural aea's school children road behavior in Taichung Waipu district shows medium-high status.
2.The difference in different gender of rural area's school children in Taichung Waipu district is significant in road behavior, showing that males have higher score than females in unsafe road crossing behaviour and dangerous playing behaviour on the road.
3.The difference in different rural area's School Children is significant in unsafe road crossing behaviour and dangerous playing behaviour on the road.
4.There were significant differences in unsafe road crossing behaviour and dangerous playing behaviour on the road of the rural area's school children in Taichung Waipu district with different traffic accident experience.
5.Rural area's school children road behavior in Taichung Waipu district, planned protective behaviour have a significantly negative correlation with unsafe road crossing behaviour and dangerous playing behaviour on the road; unsafe road crossing behaviour have a significantly positive correlation with dangerous playing behaviour on the road.
These findings of the study, finally, can provide rural elementary schools, teachers and parents for further references.
