碩士 === 中華大學 === 運輸科技與物流管理學系 === 105 === ABSTRACT This study intends to explore the relationship between the intervention of exercise and diet curriculum on the elementary school high-graders students. The research methods include literature review, BMI measuring, and statistics analysis. The aimed students are divided into two groups, experimental group and contrast group. The experimental group had spent 10 weeks to do exercise and develop diet strategy, while the contrast group kept the same daily schedule they used to before. After 10 weeks of intervention, the BMI figures and data were analyzed by F-test and student’s t-test. The findings are as below: (1)The BMI figures of experimental group show obvious progress. (2)The BMI figures of contrast group shows no progress, even higher. (3)This study shows that the intervention of exercise and diet education has positive influence on obese elementary students and helps them to reach healthy BMI target. According the above conclusions, this research proposes the following suggestions: (1)Schools need to set up appropriate time for students to do physical exercise in order to get to healthy BMI. (2)Promotion for parents to understand the importance healthy BMI is to enhance their action in this field.
