The research samples consist of all the second-year students of an anonymous junior high school, 266 students in total. The questionnaire of personal background and comics/ animation reading behaviors and the scale of gender attitude were adopted. Descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson’s chi-square test, and one-way ANOVA were employed to carry out relevant statistical analyses. The research conclusions are as the following: 1. Gender and “preferred type of animation” under comics/animation reading behaviors show a significant correlation. 2. The respective dimensions of family structure and comics/animation reading behaviors show no significant correlation. 3. Gender show significant differences in “animation gender stereotype” and “sexual harassment” attitude under the gender attitude dimension. 4. The respective dimensions of family structure and gender attitude show no significant differences. 5. All of “Animation usage habit”, “form of animation usage”, “reason for animation usage”, and “type of preferred animation” under current situation of animation usage show significant differences compared with gender attitude. The results in this study show that the animation culture exerts considerable influence on young people’s attitude toward diffent gender. In particular, when those whose preferred animation roles are special groups, their gender stereotype under the attitude toward gender dimension is more likely to be affected by animation. Keywords junior high school student, family structure,comics/animation reading behaviors, gender attitude LO,JIA-JIUNN 羅家駿 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 72 zh-TW
