Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 土木工程學系 === 105 === With passing more than a century development, the operation type of Taiwan’s railroad has gradually transformed from the simple railroad transportation service into a link of seamless transportation for the mass transport system. Cooperated with urban development and merged surrounding environment into an integral design, which connected train stations with diversified development values, including urban development, tourism and leisure, financial information, landmark and landscape. Therefore, all local governments have strove for railroad reconstruction plan and hope to become the niche of making urban renovation and development.
In recent years, the main focus of domestic traffic construction plans has gradually turned from freeways/highways to railroad; as a result, the budget of railroad construction has increased year after year. In 2004, its budget was the first time overpassed the freeways/highways construction (Annual Report - MOTC, 2016), which was the beginning of construction review and learning. However, the planning and management capabilities of owners and contractors are the key to decide the construction quality, progress and risk (the probability of occurrence for worker safety events).
In view of gradually promoting domestic related railroad reconstruction, and according to the literature review and actual on-site cases, this study intended to investigate the difficulties in the applying work methods for the constructions those on bridges along the railroad, and how to reinforce the safety of overhead bridges that close to railroad. This study’s research subject is the upper bridge structure of Bid CCL331 planned by Taichung City, including Span-by-span Supporting Construction Method, Balanced Cantilever Construction, Full-span Pre-cast and Launching Method (FPLM), and to discover these main impact factors, such as (1) Geological condition of original construction site; (2) Construction process; (3) Falling and flying object; (4) Electrical Shock and (5) Collision; and countermeasures are practically implement the construction process and protection measure, as well as compared the advantage and disadvantage between working methods.
Case studies of this study were investigated on the Truss Full-span Supporting Method that improved from the Full-span Pre-cast and Launching Method, which can reduce the safety risk of original ground supporting, as well as reduce the disturbance of soil on original ground area. Type of bridge across Wenxin Road and Songzhu Road is changed to tapered cross-sections to overcome the elevation limit. The road section across Daqing Train Station was originally designed to adopt the Full Span-by-span Support after removing Daqing Train Station, now changed to use the Full-span Pre-cast and Launching Method, and without increasing the construction budget, it could successfully save the waiting time of moving train station and operation equipment, as well as enhance the construction safety. Case studies organized in this study can be used to be a reference for the pre-planning and design for future constructions, or overcome difficulties in on-site constructions and improve the construction safety.
