Summary: | 碩士 === 中華科技大學 === 健康科技研究所在職專班 === 105 === The proportion of the elderly will grow in the future, and by 2025, our country will enter the era of super-age society. The decrease of working hours, and the increase of leisure time and awareness, both give into more need in leisure. World Health Organization (WHO,2002) proposed a policy of active aging, advocating "health participation and security", taking physical, social, and psychological aspects into account. According to the research, what the elderly want to do most after retirement is to be engaged in leisure activities. Regular leisure activities are not only helpful for person and the society, but also good for health both physically and mentally. Therefore, it is important to bring leisure activities into the elderly’s everyday life. The main purpose of this study is to figure out the relationship between leisure activities and health of the elderly, and the difference between active and static activities. This study takes 45-65 year olds people as subject, and uses quantitative methods such as descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t test, single factor variance analysis, factor analysis, and correlation analysis to distinguish the influence of different variables among different background. According to the study, 1.There is partly significant difference in age, education, marital status, health awareness and health status regarding to their leisure activities among different background variable. 2. There is partly significance difference in active and static activities among different background variable. 3. The overall participation in leisure activities has significant positive correlation with health satisfaction. Finally, this study includes that helping the elderly to cultivate their leisure activity can delay their aging.
