The risk of colorectal cancer is increasing for every generation born since the 1950s, likely due to the complex relationship between colorectal cancer and obesity, an unhealthy diet, and lack of physical activity. The increasing number of colorectal cancer is becoming a cause of concern globally in recent years. In Taiwan, Colorectal cancer has became the 1st most common cancer and the ratio is top one all of the world. The reason why colorectal cancer happen is because of busy lifestyle, an unhealthy diet, and lack of physical activity. According to American College of Gastroenterology, ACG’s research in 2014, “Chronic Constipation Linked to Increased Risk of Colorectal Cancer”, the risk of developing CRC was 1.78 times higher for chronic constipation (CC) patients and the risk of developing benign neoplasms was 2.70 times higher. A number of recent investigations that reveal probiotics can help preventing the happening of colorectal cancer, hepatic cancer and bladder cancer. It is due to probiotics can suppressor cell’s carcinogenesis. However, constipation can be relieved and cured by healthy diet and happy lifestyle. 400 surverys were sent out in order to conduct this study. 300 surveys were receive. Results indicated that most of samples we received are female and are 216 pax with the ration of 72%. The educational background most of them are above college with the ratio of 53.7%. For their occupational background, mainly are from service industry and the total samples are 118 pax with the ration of 39.3%. Most of them don’t have regular physically activities. 92.7% are carnivore. Samples who usually conduct health check annually. It reveals that more and more Taiwanese concern about their health condition. However, among those who conduct health check, 33.9% reported abnormal value, 20% reported abnormal value in cardio system, 16.7% reported abnormal value in immue system. It is represented that diseases usually happen on cadio and immue system. Last but not least, it is obviously that most of consumers are lack of knowledge of probiotics even though probiotics has became most popular supplement during these years. This study hopes to provide related information and suggestions for consumers’ reference.
