Summary:碩士 === 中華科技大學 === 健康科技研究所 === 105 === This thesis focuses on the study of perception and edibility of vitamins in Taiwan’s middle-aged people, and then through the study of health awareness, the health information sources and the consumer behavior factors of middle-aged people, help how to select appropriate vitamins to supplement nutrition , enhance body health, and then to achieve a healthy elderly life. In this thesis, the results are summarized as follows:First, in the choice of eating vitamins, because of gender and occupational differences in the recognition of vitamin supplementation significantly different, in the cognitive test 69.3% of the answer rate. Second, vitamin awareness will affect the provision of others to intake vitamin-related knowledge. In the food before going to understand the majority of vitamins accounted for 83.1%, choose a comprehensive vitamin for up to 47.5%, edible purposes to easy fatigue or auxiliary liver protection of the most 33.1%, that when intake with exercise to enhance the effectiveness of 63.1 %. Third, the consumer behavior, the average monthly purchase of NT $ 1,000 or less accounted for 80.6%, in the pharmacy or drug store to buy 53.5%, the reason for the choice of brand reputation 43.0%, with tablet up to 62.1% . Fourth, the regression analysis of vitamin supplementation, the most relevant factor in the frequency of vitamin consumption is “Diet type”, with 53.8% of the influence, followed by 43.9% of “the knowledge about the efficacy of vitamins on the human body”. The results of this study can be used to promote the concept of nutrition and health in the future, to reduce the occurrence of chronic diseases in the elderly, for the planning of the elderly care and policy reference basis.
