People begin to seek for natural energy to obtain healthy and comfortable living environment. All countries in European, American and Asia areas are engaged in development of green energy. Among that, the application of natural light as indoor lighting is still under development and it is an important target that how to effectively use the natural light to supplement indoor lighting, even replace it. However, illumination with the natural light must consider environmental factor and sunlight. Furthermore, different sunlight and seasonal illumination at each period will result in uneven light mixing ratio. Therefore, indoor lighting window is studied and optical simulation and analysis is made to combine natural light resource and LED lighting to have the mixed light mechanism of natural light and artificial light. Take improvement of underground student canteen of China University of Science and Technology as the example, it is considered the sun-shining environment at the construction place and combine with Nature Lighting Illumination System to guide the natural light to the targeted illumination environment to save unnecessary light source and lamp, reduce energy consumption, and improve the illumination and uniformity of indoor lighting to enhance user’s comfort mentally.
