Augmented Reality (AR) can mix perceptions from virtual world and perceptions with the real world, and can increase the interaction with real worlds during the game. Pokemon Go is one of game combined with AR technology. Pokemon Go has been popular and achieved many records. As games with AR technology have increased in recent years, little attention has been paid to investigate the relationships among social realism, joy, and behavioral intention to use. The research uses HMSAM as theoretical underpinning, and explores two factors about realism. Based on the above discussion, this study hypothesizes as following: H1: Joy is associated with behavioral intention to use H2: Curiosity is associated with joy H3: Social realism is associated with joy H4: Character realism is associated with joy H5: Perceived creativity is associated with joy This research adopted the survey method.
