Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 化工與材料工程學系 === 105 === A simple, facile method to successfully fabricate silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) decorated on graphene oxide (GO) layers via grafted thiol groups. In this study, the samples were prepared with different concentrations of AgNO3. Resulting Ag NPs were quasi-spherical in shape and attached on the layers of GO. The physical properties of the GO, GO-Ag NPs were confirmed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) also indicated the Ag percentage amount in the composite appropriate with the concentration of prepared AgNO3. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) showed the distribution of particles on the sheets of graphene oxide layers. The average size of GO in GO-Ag was observed to become significant reduction 327.27 nm smaller than 962 nm pure GO (dynamic light scattering) meanwhile the average of Ag NPs size is significantly small at 1.24 nm (TEM). Higher antimicrobial activity was observed on gram negative than in positive gram bacteria. The appropriate GO-Ag NPs around 44% Ag NPs content exhibited the strongest antibacterial in comparison with individual components.
