碩士 === 中州科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程系 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship among the sense of humor, self-esteem, and creativity of junior-high students in Changhua County. Further based on the results of the study, we develop specific teaching strategies to improve the creativity of students. This study adopts quantitative research by sending questionnaires to 251 junior-high students in Changhua County. The research tools include " Multi-dimensional Sense of Humor Scale," "Self-esteem Scale," and " Williams Scale." The results are as follows: 1.The performance of the sense of humor of junior high students in Changhua County is higher than the average. 2.The scores of the sense of humor do not differ from the gender of students. 3.The sense of humor does not differ from the grades of students. 4.The sense of self-esteem of junior high students in Changhua County is higher than the average. 5.The results show that different sexes have different performance on the self-esteem of junior high school students in Changhua County. 6.The results show that different grades of students have no different performance on the self-esteem of junior high school students in Changhua County. 7.The creativity of junior high school students in the Changhua area is lower than the average. 8.The curiosity score of creativity in the Changhua area varies with the student's gender. 9.Different grades of students have difference on the creative tendency. 10.The correlation coefficient between self-esteem and creativity of junior high school students in Changhua County reached p<.05 significance. 11.The humor and self-esteem of junior high school students in Changhua County can effectively affect creativity. Finally, according to the results of the study, some suggestions were made for the teachers and schools as well as future researchers in this field.
