There are 16 RF Transmitting chain, which chain is composed of RF circuits including power amplifier, variable attenuator, quadrature modulator, reflection-type phase shifter, and injection-lock oscillator, and microcontroller for monitoring circuit health states and beamforming controlled codes. The measurement results show the distinct angle and multiple beam generation in a 120° sector. For the simple beam case, the beam has 7° of HPBW and 40 dBm of EIRP, with 1.4° beam direction error and 5 dB SLL. For multiple beam patterns, there are 1.3° of main beam directioin error, 3.5 dB of average SLL, and 8° of HPBW.
