This study explores how developers can use interactive design guidelines and action research to design smart parking APPs and it tends to explore how to develop a smart parking APP that with high interactivity based on a series of interviews and system evaluations. This study found that screen size, application color, instant information, and how to give information to user will intensively affect the user's interaction with APPs in the Internet of things (IoT) environment.
