To avoid the impact on corruption, United Nations made United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) at the 58th session of United Nations General Assembly in 2003 and has set December 9th as International Anti-Corruption Day since 2004. The development indicates that anti-corruption has turned to be one of significant issues in governance whether in Taiwan or the international community. As the same as Taiwan, China is affected by the corruption problem as well. According to Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) of view, corruption issue still exists in China. Corruption issues come with economic take-off and challenge politicians and the civil society, and it also happens in Taiwan. The study compares and analyzes anti-corruption systems and policies in both sides across the strait to view the effect of anti-corruption from both sides and make suggestions accordingly. This study consists of five chapters. Chapter1-Discuss research motivations, purposes, methods, limitations and related references.Chapter2-Conduct literature reviews, definition and classification of corruption, analyzes current situation and influences of corruption on politics, economy and society, and give a brief introduction to the corruption situation of two sides.Chapter3 -Discuss anti -corruption system in both sides of the strait, explain development and establishment of incorruptible government, and explore the factors and effects of its success.Chapter4.-Explore the effects of current anti-corruption in Taiwan and China, and makes some examples of anti-corruption.Chapter5.-Make conclusions and provide suggestions for Taiwan and China’s references in the corruption of their future legislation and operation of organization.
