Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 物理系研究所 === 105 === The filamentary discharge is generated between the needle-plane electrodes by the atmospheric pressure plasma jet with argon gas injection. The plasma plays an role of removal process in open air. We study the process of forming the beautiful tree-like patterns on the copper substrate. The evolution of patterns are observed by CCD. Various patterns are formed at random but not totally random. The formation of patterns follows certain rules aggregating each removed spot. We detect the surface prole of the processed substrate by AFM to realize the rule. Spectrometer reports the strongly ionized plasma emission between the electrodes. The diffusion-limited aggregation model is suggested to simulate the mechanism of growing motion. Finally, we report a model to reproduce the experimental pattern.
