But, for the intellectual disability of sex offender whose IQ is under 70 with misbehavior, there is no particular counseling treatment course that affects the effectiveness of treatment mode. Therefore, this research uses action study method to develop group psychotherapy in prison for the sex offenders with intellectual disability. The subjects are the sex offenders with intellectual disability in prison which is located in the southern Taiwan. The course is designed based on integrated model: cognitive behavioral therapy with relapse prevention approach (CBT/RP) to design group psychotherapy in the jail suitable for learning feature of sex offenders with intellectual disability. The group treatment program is for ten months and a total of twenty eight times of counseling treatment courses. The evaluation were done based on implementation of the course and teaching. The learning outcome, self-reflection of sex offenders with intellectual disability, and the interview after course with partners in cooperation and 7 subjects were evaluated to understand course design and teaching implementation in this research. All of the above become reference of improving practice and following-up research. The conclusions of the research shows: 1.The simplified course based on learning feature of sex offenders with intellectual disability had a positive learning outcome. 2.The structured course and course review were helpful for sex offenders with intellectual disability to learn and perform. 3.The effectiveness of situated learning is better than recitative learning. The performance of behavior modification improved. 4.The research enhanced the inner monitoring of participants. 5.Group psychotherapy is helpful for sex offender with intellectual disability in the prison. The suggestions were presented in the end.
