Abstract：
The researcher herself is the target of this research. The researcher is the storyteller and the interpreter at the same time. Through an approach of qualitative research, the research explores in the following ways: Firstly, it explores the journey of spirituality of a mother, her religious experience of becoming follower of “Muniang”(母娘). The mother became a religion practitioner because of conflicts and predicaments in life. How did she transform her life and face the true self﹖Secondly, it explores what the relationship between the mother and her daughter is and how the mother changed after her spirituality pursuit. Thirdly, it explores the images of gods through the ritual performance of spirit-medium, such as pilgrimage of meeting ling, modulation of ling and exercise of body etc. Fourthly, it explores the relationship between abbots and followers.
