博士 === 元智大學 === 管理學院博士班 === 104 === The aging society brings forth changes in lifestyle and family structure, and triggers new demands and problems. Taiwan's health maintenance residence is moving towards integrating medical care system, which combines customized hardwares and services for aged population. And, the industry attracts both the public and the private sectors for investment. The study aimed to use the Regional Computable General Equilibrium Model (RCGE) as a tool to investigate the evaluation on regional economic effect of the elderly living industry, to explain the interaction among different sectors of the entire economic entity, and to analyze the regional economic operation and effect. The paper, not only provided as reference for investment in elderly living industry for both the private and the public sector, would also investigate the direction of social policy for elderly in Taiwan and the current progress in the New Taipei City. The research primarily contributed by organizing various relevant information, drafting the diagram representation of input-output table, and using the input-output analysis model to explore the benefit in the elderly living industry development, as well as proposing an inter-industrial analysis model for investment returns and suggestion for future study.
