However, people might have more expectations and needs for new media performances in the future. Generative Art whether in the past or now are both unique and diversification, but people generally not understanding Generative art, if we can adapt the concept of generative art into digital contents, it will be available provide new vitality for new media performances. This study combining Generative Art and human-computer interaction, and propose the concept of interactive Generative Art. To lead people understand Generative Art from interactive experience. This study referred Generative art, Human-computer interface and New Media performance, and proposed two feature of Generative Art "keeping the original" and "implementing participant behavior. At interactive wall and interactive table, this study propose "iDEA Snake" and "Color Mesh" innovative application of new media performance. During public exhibition assess the effectiveness by participant observation and interviews. This research discovered the following: (1) Applying interactive Generative art into new media performance is innovative application, and has feasible. (2) Interactive Generative art authentically can attract audience's attention. (3) In this paper we propose two feature of Generative Art "keeping the original" and "implementing participant behavior. (4) The interactive installation “iDEA Snake” has the innovative property.
