In addition, this research also examines the relationship among different student’s background in the elementary schools. The questionnaire survey method was adopted in this research. The instruments used to collect data are self-made. The main participants are the elementary school students in Yunlin county and 201 valid questionnaires were collected as sample. The data obtained from the questionnaire was analyzed by descriptive statistics, T-test, nonparametric K-W test, Pearson product- moment correlation and regression analysis. 1. There were significant differences between the background variables such us student’s different artistic tendency and student’s gender on student’s vocational interests. (p<.05) 2. There were significant differences in the background variable of student’s gender on student’s academic learning motivation. (p<.05) 3. There were significant differences between the background variables such us student’s different artistic tendency and student’s grade on student’s artistic learning motivation. (p<.05) 4. There were significant differences between the background variables such us student’s different artistic tendency and student’s gender on student’s learning achievement. (p<.05) 5. There was a significant correlation between student’s learning motivation and learning achievement; between student’s learning motivation and vocational interests. (p<.05) 6. The artistic tendency, student’s gender and learning motivation could predict the learning achievement effectively. According to these results, we provide teaching practice suggestions and potential direction for further study as reference for education workers and prospective researchers.
