In response to elderly travel leads coming, the Tourism Bureau promote accessible travel environment to become better. That’s make National Scenic Area, Resorts, Tourist Hotels and surroundings environment to improve add follow up.
Confront the aging society to construct convenient, safe, comfortable and friendly accessible travel environment that practice and encourage elderly and disabilities to participate in social activities. Travel environment friendliness about safety, comfort and pleasure still affects the travel process.
This research through valuation the development of method, clarify from the resort environment of accessibility and improvement issues. Create a friendly and accessible travel environment to improve the travel environment. This research adopt” Caption Card valuation method” to evaluation three case: Atuna, Crystal and New Ear art &spa Resort, analysis of traffic environment, building hardware and information environment, etc. Card design content including six direction of traffic environment, building hardware, commodity sell, action to assist, communication and index. The context experience and life behavior experience to evaluation environment of accessible travel environment in the three Case of resort.
The results from that traffic environment, need to consider continuity path smooth and outdoor environment accessibility that about moving. The direction of building hardware propose the human scale of device height set adjustment and setting device to rest. The direction of index propose plants particularity the nature of education index, warning signs and identification bearing to set up. That affects the index factors including of font size, color and background. The direction of commodity sell propose to consider diversification and local commodity. The direction of action to assist to propose stairs in unity with height difference, displacement short assist and aids device assist need. The direction of communication propose waiters kind of commentary and park guide demand need to help the elderly know about resort.
Both software and hardware complement each other can help the resort become more better and accessible, consider the elderly need of travel to propose trip planning about accessible travel environment that can provide elderly have a friendly, comfortable environment and depth of travel.
