碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 休閒運動研究所 === 104 === ABSTRACT The study aims to understand the relations between the motivation and the satisfaction of the road runners in Yunlin County. The study was conducted with questionnaire method and a self-designed questionnaire was used as the research tool. The content of the study is composed of three parts, including “the population background variables”, “the motivation for road running as leisure and sport” and “the satisfaction for road running as leisure and sport”. The road runners in Yunlin County were the research objects. A total of 450 questionnaires were sent out and 420 valid questionnaires were retrieved. The information gained from the questionnaires was analyzed by Independent-Sample T Test, One way ANOVA, and Regression Analysis. Research results are as follows: (1) Genders show a significant difference on the runners’ motivation for leisure and sport. (2) Education level, monthly income and marital status show a remarkable difference on the runners’ satisfaction for leisure and sport. (3) A significant positive correlation exists between the motivation and the satisfaction of the runners in Yunlin County. (4) The motivation provides a positive explanation to the satisfaction for leisure and sport. Apart from explaining the results, the study also analyzed and discussed the application of them. It is hoped that the government and private sectors can work together to build a high-quality environment for road running, to assist the promotion of this sport, and to bring the runners more satisfaction.
