In this study, the different oxygen concentrations of rats were made. With the different light of absorption between oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin, We hope to build up a system which can response the hemoglobin change rapidly after the free flap surgery. Methods We mixed in different proportions of nitrogen and oxygen. We made rats to breath in the gas with different partial pressure of oxygen to change their oxygen concentration. By using the red and infared LED to flash on the tissue, we can calculate the R value and establishment the curve to predict the oxygen concentration. We mixed nitrogen and oxygen with different proportions, and rats inhaled the gas with different partial pressure of oxygen to change their oxygen concentration. By using the red and infared LED to flash on the tissue, we could calculate the R value and establish the curve to predict the oxygen concentration. Results Because of the marginally change in oxygen concentration, we only calculate the R value between 83 and 98%. We can build up a curve in small range. Due to the marginally change in oxygen concentration, we could only measure the R value between 83 and 98%, and build up a curve in the small range.
