Summary:碩士 === 育達科技大學 === 資訊管理所 === 104 === This study investigated the factors influencing the decision to study in the department of food and beverage at vocational schools, made by junior middle school graduates in Miaoli County. The factors were classified into four categories, namely, personal factors, family factors, school factors, and social factors. It conducted relevant literature review, adopted "Modified Delphi Method " to help experts reach a consensus, analyzed and summarized the factors to establish a hierarchical structure, employed Analytic Hierarchy Process to obtain the weights of the subfactors under the four influencing factors, and conducted consistence test and assortment to establish a weight system. The results of this study show that there were four major factors influencing the decision to study in the department of food and beverage at vocational schools, made by junior middle school graduates in Miaoli County. The subfactors attached with high attention include in order interest, aptitude, parents' education attitudes, parents' expectations, and perception of career in the food and beverage industry. The conclusions of this study can serve as a reference in terms of the application and academic researches of policy promotion, higher school guidance, and curriculum planning by education administration authorities, educational decision-makers, secondary technical vocational schools (medium level), and junior middle schools.
