Summary: | 碩士 === 萬能科技大學 === 化妝品應用與管理研究所 === 104 === In this study, we divide our rearch into three parts. In the first part, we collect 106 cosmetics to research the condtion of usage, categories, frequency of usage and discuss the preservatives. Second, we select three concentration (0.5 wt%、1 wt%、2 wt%) of silicone/ glucose surfactant emulsion to emulsify the Squalence and prepare our samples. Further, we discuss the stability, dispersion of emulsion, and wetting effect by Colloidal Dynamics, Zetaprobe Analyzer, Brookfield Viscometer., FTA, Particle Size Distribution Analyzer. In the third part, we further prepare six formula including Phenonip, Styrax Benzoin Oil, Lavender Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Thyme Oil, Sensiva SC, and Control group by using silicone/ glucose surfactant emulsion to inspect the stability of emulsion, and properties of antibacterial by Particle Size Distribution Analyzer, Brookfield Viscometer.
In the first part, the research indicate that 87 of 106 samples(82.08%)contain compound preservatives, the top three ones in our survey are Methyl Paraben、Phenoxyethanol、Methylisothiazolinone. In the second part, our expriment shows that 2 wt% silicone/ glucose surfactant emulsion contain the lowest surface tension, absolute value of interface potential, lowest time variation of Particle Size, the highest viscosity and the best wetting effect, stability, dispersion of emulsion. The third part in our research, we simulate cosmetics by six formula emulsified by silicone/ glucose surfactant emulsion and indicate all our samples are stable. From the flowing curve, it shows that the condition of flowing is Pseudoplastic Fluid with 860~940cp. However, dealing with 16 hours of BRANSONIC, 5510R-DTH, sample 1, 2, 6 show the reduction of dispersion of emulsion with separation of oil and water, indicating the unstablity of emulsion. Before 16 hours of BRANSONIC, 5510R-DTH with our samples, the average Particle Size are between 1025.65~1714.4nm, sample 7 has the lowest average Particle Size with 1025.65nm but sample 9 is the highest one with 1714.4nm. The study shows that the condition of distribution is type O/W. In our experiment of antibacterial, six formula show ideal antibacterial properties. After 16 hours of BRANSONIC, 5510R-DTH with our samples, some samples emulsified by silicone/ glucose surfactant emulsion show that there are inhibition zone and it is worth noting that sample 10 shows antibacterial of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Futher, our study also indicate the remarkable antioxidative activity. In our conclusion, silicone/ glucose surfactant emulsion provide ideal stability of emulsion and properties of antibacterial.
