Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 104 === The study aims was to explore the effects of narcissism on muscle endurance performance of schoolchildren under social loafing with subjects of 24 players from the Physical Education talented class of an elementary school in Panchiao City, New Taipei City. The instruments for the study were Narcissistic Personality Inventory-40 and muscle endurance performance of three crunches; the data collected are processed by means of SPSS for Windows 12.0, and further analyzed with descriptive statistics and two-way Mix ANOVA. The results were as follows: First, narcissism had a significant effect on muscle endurance performance, and the schoolchildren of high narcissism had significant better performance than those of low narcissism. Second, social loafing had a significant effect on narcissism, and the children of high narcissism tended to show social loafing than those of low narcissism. Third, high recognizable context had high positive relations with narcissism. Fourth, there was no significant correlation between narcissism and social loafing. The results of the study provide the coaches with insights and information and for further research.
