碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 體育學系體育碩士在職專班 === 104 === This research aims to discuss and analyze self-awareness of basketball referees who had attended the training seminars organized by the Chinese Taipei Basketball Association and had been granted certificates to enforce the law on the basketball court as well as the quality of law enforcement and the performance they demonstrated later in a game. The related survey was conducted by randomly picking the referees with national-B, national-A, and FIBA-certificated qualifications recognized by the CTBA to answer the specifically revised questionnaires, and 386 valid copies were collected. After assessed with tools of SPSS for Windows 20.0 descriptive statistics, repeated measures ANOVA analysis, independent sample t-test, and LSD post hoc comparisons, the following results were obtained. First, analyzing the four factor surfaces, self-cognition of a referee to enforce the law in a basketball game topped the list, followed in order by the intensity of self-confidence, the release of pressure, and personal physical condition, all of which significantly affect self-awareness of a referee. Second, diverse background variables concerning gender and occupation show no noticeable differences; while in age, the level and seniority of a referee, and the level of basketball games remarkable differences were easily detected.
