The study was carried out on United Daily News (UDN) Group employees with a questionnaire named “The Participating Motivations and Constraints of UDN Group Employees in Leisure Sports “. 470 copies of effective questionnaire were acquired and processed with SPSS Windows20.0 statistics software to analyze the data by Descriptive Statistics, Independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA,the least significant difference (LSD) post-hoc comparison method, Pearson’s product moment correlation measurement, etc. The results obtained in the study were as follows: (1)The factors of the participating motivations of UDN Group employees in leisure sport including “health”, “job”, “interpersonal relationship”, and “family”. The factors that had most importance to the respondents were “health” followed by “interpersonal relationship”, “family”and “job”. (2)The factors of the constraints of UDN Group employees in leisure sport including “psychological”, “working pressure ”, “family of constraints”, and “sports facilities”. The factors that had most importance to the respondents were “psychological” followed by “sports facilities” and “working pressure”, while “family of constraints” is ranked the last. (3) There were significant disparities in the factors affecting the participating motivations of UDN Group employees in leisure sport depending on different background variables, including “sex”, “age.”, “job types”, and “marital status”.(4) There were significant disparities in the factors affecting the constraints in leisure sport on UDN Group employees in leisure sport depending on different background variables, including “sex”, “age.”, “job types”, “working time”and “marital status”.(5)Overall, a slight negative correlation was seen between the participating motivations and constraints of United Daily News Group Employees in leisure sports.
