Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 體育學系體育教學碩士學位班 === 104 === The purpose of this study were to understand the differences of the current situation and the factors between the participation motivation and social support of the elementary school tchoukball team players in Taiwan, and also discuss the circumstances related to the various variables involved in participation motivation and social support. This study is aimed at national-wide public and private elementary school tchoolball team players, ranging from fourth graders to sixth graders in 2015. The study tool is based on “The questionnaire of elementary school tchoukball players’ participation motivation and social support.” Utilizing the questionnaires as the tools of the study, the surveys and data-collection were completed 479 questionaires which were sent out,of which 388 were valid, the response rate being 81.00%. Data is processed and analyzed by SPSS 20.0 statistical software. The findings of the study were as below: First, the status of the participation motivation and the differences had five factors, and the order of priority was: "skill development" and "health fitness" both had the highest importance, followed by the "accomplishment needs", "psychological motivations", and the least importance was givens to “social needs”. The status of the social support and differences had four factors, and the order of priority was: “coach support” had the highest importance, followed by the “peer support”, “family support”, and the least importance was given to “teacher support”. Second, there were significant differences in the variables of different personal background for participation motivation and social support from elementary school tchoukball team players in Taiwan, such as, “gender”, “current school grade”, “hours of training per week”, and “training experiences”. Third, there were significant differences on the relationship of participation motivation and social support of elementary school tchoukball team players in Taiwan.
